OUR STRUCTURE

The work is carried out by our members, split into specific regions and working groups. These groups feed into our county-level work with holistic perspectives, individual expertise, or the specific focus of the organization they are affiliated with. GHOP is also accommodative to various organizations whose main activities are related to the fight against poverty and social exclusion. They take an active part in the work of the different working groups depending on their expertise.

Membership

GHOP is a network of national networks of voluntary organizations and grassroots groups active in the fight against poverty within each Member County within Kenya. Members of the regional national networks take an active part in all of the work of GHOP

GHOP is the biggest network of Kisumu County and sub-county networks, involving anti-poverty NGOs and grass-root groups as well as international Organizations, active in the fight against poverty and social exclusion.it has a presence in six counties and is destined to grow beyond Kenyan borders. 

There are many ways of membership, individual member, corporate membership, regional membership, and donor partners. Equally, volunteers are also given membership status.
