BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors (BoD) brings together all the members of GHOP and is its highest authority. the board is headed by the Chairperson of GHOP, the treasurer, and the secretary who doubles up as the CEO as well as four other members being representative of each County of operation. Its responsibility is to propose the policy formulation and overall decision, work program, to execute the Board’s decisions, In addition, they adopt an annual work program and sets policies guidelines and priorities for the organization, and they further issue-specific policy papers and decides on lobbying actions.

SECRETARIAT

This is headed by the secretary to the board who doubles up as the CEO Mandated with various responsibilities. The Secretariat is responsible for the stimulating and coordinating of the activities, sharing the information, and the financial and administrative aspects of the GHOP Network. It provides support to all of GHOP’s satellite units and informs them about relevant policy developments. It is also the job of the Secretariat Staff to develop and implement the work program, organize meetings, facilitate networking and capacity building between the GHOP’s members and develop external partnerships and alliances.
